In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”

That “Sweet Transvestite” and his motley crew did the “Time Warp” on Broadway in a 25th anniversary revival. Complete with sass from the audience, cascading toilet paper, and an array of other audience participation props, this deliberately kitschy rock ’n’ roll sci-fi gothic musical is more fun than ever.

Character Descriptions -

Brad: Male, Tenor. Nerdy, overly optimistic, somewhat clueless. Very much in love with Janet.

Janet: Female, Mezzo/Belter. Good girl, often frightened, easily swayed. Very much in love with Brad.

Frank ‘N’ Furter: Male, Baritone. Master of the castle and seduction. Obsessed with creating a man.

Riff Raff: Any Gender, Rock Tenor. Creepy head servant.

Rocky: Male, Tenor. Frank’s magnificent, handsome, and innocent creation.

Eddie/Dr. Scott: One actor will play both roles! Male, Baritone. Eddie is the hard-rocking, unfortunate delivery man who dies after his big solo. Dr. Scott is a retired tutor to Brad & Janet, coincidentally he’s Eddie’s uncle. He uses a wheelchair.

Narrator: Any gender, non-singing. Respectable; always speaks to the audience.

Magenta: Female, Mezzo/Belter. Featured soloist, one of Frank’s servants. Also sings and dances with the Ensemble.

Columbia: Female, Alto. Featured Dancer/Soloist, one of Frank’s servants. In love with Eddie. Also sings and dances with the Ensemble.

Usherette: Female, Mezzo/Belter. Featured soloist (opens and closes the show!). Also sings and dances with the Ensemble.

The Phantoms: Ensemble singers & Dancers. Any gender, any vocal range. Must be able to hold vocal harmonies.
