As a 501(c)(3) educational institution, we rely heavily on the donations of our community. While our shows take in 90% of our yearly income, almost 50% of our yearly expenses go towards maintaining the beautiful and historic Hyde Park Opera House. When the pandemic hit, the cost of upkeep for the Opera House did not change, though our income dropped to near zero. Like many others, we worked hard to keep ourselves going, with the help of an online show in 2021 Annie.

Your donation this year not only helps us bring back live theater, but also allows us to continue our efforts to maintain and improve our home, the Hyde Park Opera House. Thank you for your consideration. We can’t do this without you!

We have no capital improvement projects at this time.

Sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to our Sill Repair project in 2020. For so many of us, the Opera House is like a second home, and when she needed help, help arrived. We are overwhelmed with gratitude. The repair is in progress and will be completed this spring (2022).
