The Lamoille County Players have reached deep into the library of Neil Simon’s brilliant career, and have selected a wonderful, though lesser known play to kick off their sixty-first season. 

Neil Simon takes us on a ride through the stories floating around the mind of a writer. The scenes fall anywhere from sad to slapstick in Simon's tribute to the short stories of Anton Chekhov. As the plays opens we meet “The Writer” (Chekhov) whose mind is overflowing with characters, scenarios, and stories all of which appear before our eyes without having to leave his writing room.
